Tim Howley

To say that Mr. Howley bleeds purple is an understatement. He received both his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and his masters in teaching at JMU. Prior to coming to the Department of Health Sciences, Mr. Howley served as the Coordinator of Peer Programs in Student Wellness and Outreach at JMU.

After graduating from JMU, Mr. Howley taught middle school health and physical education in Chesapeake, Virginia. His interests include community health, physical and health education, and student development.

Mr. Howley lives in Harrisonburg with his wife, son, daughter and dog. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family, running, and attending sporting events, especially at JMU.
