Neil Francis Receives 2015 John D. Kraus Award

The 2015 John D. Kraus Award was given to Neil Francis, a 2015 summer graduate of our program. This annual award is given to the senior Health Services Administration major demonstrating academic performance, high motivation in and out of the classroom, leadership, and excellent promise for success in the field of healthcare management. Each year, the HSA faculty determines which senior student best meets the criteria for the award. The award was established in 1995, and is given in honor and memory of John D. Kraus, an HSA major who died in his senior year in the Program.

Congratulations to Neil on receiving this well-deserved award! Neil’s name is inscribed on a plaque permanently located in the Department of Health Sciences office that honors all past Kraus Award winners.

Neil is currently employed as a Network Contractor with United Healthcare, in New York, NY.
