Office of Career and Academic Planning
The Office of Career and Academic Planning offers various programs and resources to students. Areas of assistance include resume workshops, job searches, internship resources, job directories, interview preparations, mock interviewing, on-campus interviewing, and career fairs. Students can use these resources to assist with securing their required senior internships and for postgraduate planning.

American College of Healthcare Executives
HSA students are eligible to become a Student Associate in ACHE, with access to several benefits including career support, networking opportunities, educational resources, and financial assistance.

Association of University Programs in Health Administration (AUPHA)
The Association of University Programs in Health Administration (AUPHA) is a global network of colleges, universities, faculty, individuals, and organizations dedicated to improving health by promoting excellence in healthcare management education.

IIHHS HIPAA Training
All HSA students are encouraged to complete this free, online HIPAA Training, offered through the Institute for Innovation in Health and Human Services.

Institute for Healthcare Improvement Open School
The HSA program encourages students to complete the IHI Basic Certificate in Quality and Safety, which is free for students. JMU also has an active IHI student chapter on campus our majors may join.

Lynda.com Master Excel 2016
Available to students for free through the JMU Libraries and Educational Technologies, Lynda.com offers several video tutorials to help HSA students build their Microsoft Excel skills in preparation for coursework, internships, and careers in health administration.
